This collection of work was the result of a year-long exploration of cultural grief, ritual, and nationalism. Using found materials from my familial history and narrative, comparable to many other American Jewish families', these works reflect the inner investigation of a young American Jew navigating historical trauma, identity, and Zionism.
These works include materials such as gauze, wax, and metal, which convey themes of fragility, pain, and brutality.
